Hello my name is Luis Fernando Teo and I am from Guatemala.
I’m representing a family-owned company that’s called the Frutesa.
I’m representing a family-owned company that’s called the Frutesa.
Frutesa was founded by my mom in 1983 so this year we’re turning, we’re celebrating our 40th anniversary.
And we are very happy to be here at Fruit Logistica in Berlin in Germany.
We have a big range of products but our main products are snow peas, sugar snap peas and avocados.
We grow them by ourselves and also buy from third-party growers,
which we give them technical assistance and finance them to grow these products with the quality standards that the European Union requires.
And yeah, and the packaging and everything that they require.
We focus on retail and wholesale market.
Around more than 50 percent of our exports are in pre-packs as you can see here,
ready to eat and we sell them to supermarkets, you know, Europe and the UK.
And also the avocados will go to mainly to supermarkets.
Well, as I was telling you, we’re very happy to be here.
It’s our like 20th time being here in the in the Fruit Logistica.
