Hello. We are Carpenter Additive and we are a business unit of am established by Carpenter Technology, a US-based manufacturer of specialty engineering.
Carpenter itself has a proven track record in the U.S. aerospace and defense industries.
We are also a manufacturer that has supplied bar and ingot materials to various engine manufacturers, GE, Rolls Royce, Pratt & Whitney, and Safran Group.
But as far as this am business unit is concerned, we mainly deal in what we call high quality metal powder, and we offer it in Japan.
We have a wide range of lattice materials, all of which can be used for am, with controlled chemical compositions, improved flowability, etc.
We’re trying to package that kind of consistent quality in small quantities, say 10 kilos, so that we can accommodate customers at the R&D level and also customers who want to use it down to the ton level, and so on.
We are moving in the way to contribute am to our Japanese customers by setting up a supply system.
