ATLAS ASSAGHIR is exhibited Saffron products at 2023 IGW International Green Week Berlin.

So welcome to the Moroccan Pavilion. This is the Cooperative called Atlas Assaghir.
We produce saffron products.
We produce saffron products.

Saffron is a specific product that is only like… it’s produced in Morocco in the region of the Atlas.

it is a place called Taliouine and the Cooperative is amazing because we actually work together with women that are responsible to go and pick the stems of the saffron from the crocus plant.

this is our product. This for instance is the… this is like the two gram saffron.

This is a hundred grams and we do we do produce like yeah and we also produce like half a gram.

But it is something that we are very very proud of is also the fact that it helps the women to find a job and develop together.

And he’s also saying… he’s specifying the history of saffron is very old and Rich.

Every year we get like six tons of saffron from the Taliouine region and it’s how it’s harvested like six tons every year.

We’re very proud of that.

Planted and also harvested it’s a hundred percent natural in a traditional

The way saffron is planted and also harvested, it’s 100% natural in a traditional way, that we do it.

And we do not like add any chemical product to it and it’s a hundred percent natural.

it’s actually being harvested in a very traditional way by the women and ladies and also the men that work together in this beautiful cooperative, yeah.

Okay so something that we want to point out is the fact that we insist on the traditional way of planting and harvesting it because we do not want to exploit our soils.

And we really put like a lot of value to the fact that we use the traditional methods.

we don’t like to add chemical products even though it may decrease the harvest.

if you amount to it like in kilograms for instance…
Others that use like chemical products would be able to exploit like 40 kilograms maybe whereas we would have like 8 kilos.
Others that use like chemical products would be able to exploit like 40 kilograms maybe whereas we would have like 8 kilos.

But we are very proud to like to insist on the quality and the traditional ways we’re doing it. Exactly, yeah.

Okay so he’s pointing out that there’s like 3 types saffron.

Crossing, Piclo crossing and saffronal.

And they are very high in quality with saffron and it’s what we harvest and plant in the region of Taliouine.

Okay so basically there is no website but there’s like an email address where people can reach us like distributors or potential customers that want to import saffron from us.

And it’s basically what you see on here.

So it’s [email protected]

So yeah we’re very much looking forward to receiving your requests and to respond to them and to hopefully have a wonderful business relationship together.

I think that’s it. Thank you so much and we are looking forward to hearing from you.
