So, hi I’m Kritika from Meta Mate and we’re specialized in importing mate from Brazil to Berlin and we sell it from Berlin to other countries.
We’re working with many sorts of Mate tea that are harvested in different regions.
Most of it is wild mate.

Because it’s very popular with football players like Messi or all of the Argentinians drink it.
But our mate… it’s different from lots of commercial mates on the market because it’s very fresh and green.
Mate is having some caffeine inside but it’s also having Theobromine, what’s the same substance that you find in chocolate that puts you in a very good mood.
And it’s having lots of antioxidants and vitamins.
So it’s a very sustainable energy that keeps you going for a long time.
For the last 12 years we’ve been working with mate and doing a lot to bring this culture outside of… outside of Brazil.

And we’re networking with a lot of very big drink producers in Germany who are also making different lemonades out of mate.
Because this is how it’s very popular here in Germany.
But we’re also trying to spread the real mate culture and drink it in this way.
