Our tableware made with rice resin is made from 30% rice.
As it is written here, rice resin is a resin that is
made by mixing old rice that is not suitable for food, waste rice, and crushed rice with a resin called polypropylene.
In Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture, a company called Biomass Resin manufactures
resin.
This is what I did.
Regarding this, the ratio of rice is 30%, and the remaining 70% is PP and polypropylene.
As a national standard, if 25% or more of the biomass component is blended, it can be certified as a biomass product, so this time we have set the allocation to 30%.
Our rice resin tableware is of course a biomass product, so it is from the perspective of reducing CO2, but
because it uses rice, it is also a product that will lead to the eradication of food loss. Moreover,
this product was created with the concept of helping rice farmers in Japan, using more rice, and not wasting it . ,
