Hi my name is Alex and I am a UAS engineer and I am working for intelliports.
Essentially what we’ve developed is a collection of technology to totally automate drones as a delivery service.

So we’re essentially building totally standalone drone ports.
where an NHS worker might come up with pathology, blood samples, chemotherapy drugs, drop it off into a locker.
And from that point forward, everything is automated.
So we have a rover which comes along, picks up the parcel, takes it up to the roof where a drone is waiting and the drone autonomously takes it to another spot outside let’s say a GP in a remote area.
We are working on the software side of things as well as mechanical parcel retention and winch systems,
as well as some of our own drone platforms as well.
So our first drone port is going to be built in September and is going to be based in Foy and we are going to be taking medication over to the Isle of Wight.
