So, traditional workflows are the camera shoots the video clip usually under some kind of video card or mobile hard drive.
That drive is then moved into the production flow.
The trouble with that of course is that there’s always a bottleneck or the drives are being damaged or they’re being lost.
Also you can’t really guarantee that what you’re shooting is what you’re receiving in the production flow.
What Seagate Lyve does, it takes it takes a headache away this is a 96 terabyte unit.

On the back of which is a thunderbolt 3 connection which is very very fast.
The idea is is that customers can shoot the footage, load onto this straight away and that goes into the workflow with one of our pelicases over there.
Which means that your production times are shorter and therefore much more efficient.
But actually the most innovative thing about this is how you own.
It you don’t buy it, you lease it.

What we do is we can delete the encryption key rendering the data from the computer useless to anybody else.
